Daughter, sister, grand-daughter, niece, aunt, friend. Currently expat senior communications person for one of the world’s leading PR consultancies.
Despite the title of my blog, I’m not opposed to love. In fact, I’m all for it. The name started as a bit of a joke with a friend over coffee one day as we were discussing the ins and outs of relationships and the dating scene and feeling like it was sometimes a David v Goliath battle. Girls v Guys. Us v The World.
This blog started after much coaxing from friends to share my dating experiences – good and bad – along with my views on life and love. I have plenty of frank and endearing advice and points-of-view to share about dating, along with the occasionally embarrassing stories. It by no means makes me an expert, but I do have a significant amount of experience…
Since moving to Bangkok in early 2013, I’ve also reignited my love for my career. Articles about women’s stuggles for “having it all” when it comes to family, career, friendships, relationships, fashion, money (and the list goes on…) are a dime a dozen these days so I’ll try not to be another one of those. But what I do is also part of who I am – a passionate communicator who is always looking for ways we can do it better.
If you’d like to get in touch, ask some advice, share a story or simply ask me on a date, shoot an email to marissa dot tree at gmail dot com. I’d love to hear from you.
